Medicare’s own platform states: “care that seeks to prevent disease, promote health and prolong and enhance the quality of life is not considered medically necessary and therefore not payable.”
Let that sink in for a moment.
If you’re living your life only doing what your insurance company is willing to pay for, you’re not going to get healthy. You’re not going to reach your wellness goals.
And I get it – we all pay substantial premiums every month. I do too. But here’s my reality: I can’t remember the last time I used insurance. I haven’t been on prescription medication since my 20s, and I’m 65 years old now.
So who’s managing your health? What decisions are you making about your wellbeing?
When I turned 65, I enrolled in Medicare because if you don’t sign up at 65, you face penalties. But I also kept my Liberty Health Share coverage because I want options. I want the freedom to make my own health decisions. Your health is your only real insurance, and ironically, true health care isn’t even covered under the Medicare model.
This means we need to do things differently. We need to examine our lifestyles honestly. Are you dealing with chronic stress, brain fog, memory issues, or headaches? What about feeling cold, experiencing mood swings, or having digestive problems? If you can put a name on what you’re experiencing, it’s chronic – and chronic problems literally take up valuable real estate in your brain.
You’re surrendering gray matter to these chronic stress patterns, limiting what you can accomplish. If you want real change, you need to step off the hamster wheel and take a different path.
At Connect My Brain, we have a plan. Through our Mechanical-Chemical-Brain approach, we can coach you every step of the way.
